Parada do Orgulho Gay de São Paulo pedirá aprovação de lei de identidade de gênero.

Depois da massiva campanha nas redes sociais, a APOGLGBT decidiu mudar o tema da 18° Parada Gay de São Paulo, considerada a maior Parada do gênero do mundo. Neste ano a festa vai pedir a aprovação do projeto de lei de identidade de gênero que autoriza transexuais a trocar nome, foto e sexo em documentos oficiais sem a necessidade de fazer cirurgia de mudança de sexo, terapia hormonal ou autorização judicial.
A letra "T" ainda é um tabu, talvez ainda mais forte que a própria homossexualidade, no Brasil. Obrigadas a sair mais cedo da escola, da casa familiar e com dificuldades para entrar no mercado de trabalho, as Trans sofrem de forma expressiva o peso da intolerância.
João Nery (64) foi o primeiro Trans homem que o Brasil sabe em sua história. A lei que recebeu o seu nome ainda está para ser discutida e votada no Congresso Nacional.

Gay Pride Parade in Sao Paulo will seek approval of the law of gender identity. 

After the massive campaign in social networks, APOGLGBT decided to change the theme of the 18th Gay Parade in Sao Paulo, the largest parade of its kind in the world. This year the party will seek approval of the bill gender identity allowing transsexuals to change name, photo and gender on official documents without the need of making sex change surgery, hormone therapy or judicial authorization. 
The letter "T" is still taboo, perhaps even stronger than his own homosexuality in Brazil. Forced to leave school earlier, the family home and with difficulties entering the labor market, the Trans suffer significantly the weight of intolerance. 

John Nery (64) was the first Trans man who knows Brazil in its history. The law received its name is yet to be discussed and voted on in Congress.
